About Us

Renee Walker

Renee Walker is a co-founder and the CEO of Mothers on Fire. She is truly passionate about inspiring mothers to reach their greatest potential. Renee holds an honours degree in Social Sciences with a specialization in Economics from the University of Ottawa. Upon graduating she worked in finance for several years. Her career focused on helping women achieve wealth and financial independence. After becoming a stay at home mother, Renee joined a life coaching group to which she credits changing her life. Most importantly it has made her a stronger and more fulfilled mother to her children.

Sandra De Tina

As a co-founder of Mothers on Fire, Sandra De Tina is passionate about personal development and helping mothers fulfill their dreams. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Ryerson University, she pursued a successful career in sales winning awards in her field.  While being a stay-at-home mom, Sandra joined a life coaching group and has never looked back. She has since completed the courses at the Coaches Training Institute to become a life coach.  Her love of people and zest for life continue to be an inspiration to all.

Lisa Garber

Lisa Garber is a co-founder and the life coach expert at Mothers on Fire. She has been coaching womens groups for over ten years and is a passionate advocate for mothers living their full potential. Lisa is a certified coactive coach, a psychotherapist and author of Becoming a Mother on Fire: A Guide to Being a Mom without Losing Yourself. She was a professor of counseling psychology at a Canadian College, developed the first womens only treatment program for addictions at the Donwood Institute and is currently the Director of coaching at The Institute for Health and Human Potential, an international training company in emotional intelligence for leaders. She holds a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Toronto.

Brenda Jasmin

Brenda Jasmin is an award winning training and development professional with over 15 years experience facilitating workshops. While studying at the University of Western Ontario, Brenda developed a keen interest in the field of personal development. After earning a B.A. in Psychology, she worked as an employment counsellor. At 25, she started her own business delivering career planning workshops to students. Later, she joined a Human Resources consulting firm and specialized in corporate training. Most recently, she has worked as a full-time stay-at-home mother to her two children. Soon after becoming a mom, Brenda hired a life coach. After making some key changes in her own life, she knew she had to find a way to help other moms do the same. Brenda is committed to helping mothers find personal fulfillment by reconnecting with their values, priorities, goals and true selves.
